The benefits of fermentation has become well known in the health industry. Fermentation improves digestion, increase your gut flora (the good bugs in your tummy) and will give your immunity a reboot!
And yes........they taste fantastic too!
This 'hands on' fermentation workshop will take you through the basics of various fermentation techniques, so you gain enough confidence to start experimenting at home!
The workshop will cover these topics:
The science behind lacto-fermentation
Equipment you need to start fermenting (jars and kitchen utensils)
Basic recipes to get you started
By the end of the session you will have made:
Your own kombucha to take home
Basic sauerkraut or kimchi (you need to let me know if you would like to make kimchi a few days before the workshop due to some preparation required)
You will be given notes and resources on the day and LOADS of encouragement to start fermenting straight away!!
Ingredients will be provided for the day, but you will need to bring along some kitchen equipment (jars will be provided!!)
Grab a friend or make some new ones on the day and lets get fermenting!!
